I don’t understand why people put their personal lives out there for the public to view and “like.”
I’ve been a stage parent for over 40 years. I’ve even helped bring protections and copyrights for celebrities onto the internet, and still—they’re not safe from bullies. That says a lot.
This weekend, my daughter went to Calgary for a fan trip, and it reminded me what truly matters. Seeing real fans, real smiles, and genuine connections in person is something social media could never replicate. There wasn’t a single cyberbully—just kindness and respect.
Celebrities have bodyguards—why not cyber guards? People deserve protection online just as much as they do in person.
Thumbs down on social media.
