The movie “Sugar” brought back nostalgic memories of my childhood.

By Lin Milano

I grew up with a single mom who had to work to support our family. We didn’t have babysitters back then, so we would lock the door and watch TV.

That’s how I developed a love for Hollywood and everything it had to offer. As a child, my babysitter was Clark Gable in “Gone with the Wind” and “The Wizard of Oz.” It felt like magic.

Now that I’m older and have access to all kinds of content, I still find myself drawn to the small screen.

Here are some of the current projects that I’ve enjoyed. I hope you will too.

  1. I have been a music editor for film and TV for over 30 years. I am passionate about classic film, especially Film Noir. I loved experiencing the show Sugar. It is an homage to Noir yet with an amazing twist. Great scripts and performances make this a must see as it is one of Apple TV+’s best.

Also check out TCM’s Noir Alley for more Film Noir classics.

  2. My admiration for your creations is as substantial as your own sentiment. The visual presentation is tasteful, and the written content is sophisticated. Yet, you seem uneasy about the possibility of presenting something that may cause unease. I’m confident you’ll be able to resolve this issue efficiently.

    1. Hey there, it’s Lin, Toms wife thank you for your comment. I designed the website, and I host over at green geeks, and they are the best hosting company I ever worked with. Thanks for stopping by. Stay Safe: Lin
